Capture episodes 7-8

In the seventh episode Mary Ellen Mark and Helena Christensen are interviewed by Mark Seligo. Mary got noticed mainly for her photography of Mother Teressa and following her around the world she then began taking photos of the people see saw. I personally love Mary's work I love her circus series that she has done, i think her style and the way seethings is totally unique and intrigues me. Similarly to Mary Helena focuses on the people see sees while traveling. As a model herself this has widely effect her photography work. Helena knows that fashion can add a lot to the photo and create a sense of depth.

In the other episode the themes are similar as they all look at capturing life from the stand point that they are in. In the with episode Aaron Eckhart and Peter van Agtmael are on set. Peter like Ben lowy photographs war and has been doing so for a few years, he says that when you enter into an area of war its like entering into another world, like a movie set. Aaron is an actor but while on set he often goes of an takes pictures. While on set he followed a young gang and was allowed by them to document there life in the few days he was there. Personally I really liked the images they felt raw and captured the individual personalities of each of the children.
