Yayoi Kusama is an artist from Toyko and use paintto create colourful peices that really lift of the canvas. She has done two exhibitions in New York. Her style is powerful and colourful. She uses colour with a mixture of shapes like pokka dots and eyes in almost all of her paintings.

Personally I really like her work, i love the moder feel to the work while also incorpirating the feel of egyptian hierogllphics with the eyes and pokka dots. Her style is unique while still being widely accesable to the public with the clean cut colours and basic shapes.

I feel that her work while being create and powerful at points can be a little over whelming, and I feel that it would be a lot more captivating if she had less on a canvas.
