Shawn Achor looks at how in the world of business we are constantly told to that in order to be happier in our everyday lives we need to work harder, but if that is the case why are som many people that work hard and pack there time full of work are more stressful and less happy? Shawn expresses the idea that maybe we have it backwards, and that actually to be happier we need to be happy first and then we will be more productive adn then work harder.
Personally I totaly agree with Shawns thoughts/ theroy. I know its true when it comes to my life, if I am happy in myself or inspired by a project i am doing then I am more likely to work harder at it and put more time and energy into it and at the end have a better result and be happier in myself, so if it works on a small scale with just small projects I work with then why wouldn't it work on a larger scale with work?
