Alan Cummings and Sebastian Kim both joined Mark Seliger on set of capture. Sebastian mainly focus on fashiona dn portrait photography that is mainly based in a studio and staged. While in comparison Alan is an actor who takes his candid photos on set capturing people off guard or when they do something that looks a little different and out of the ordinary.
Sebastian uses his photography to create a fantasy and a story. He believes that you always need something to elevate the photo and that clothes can do this. His work is very commercialised and uses his work in magazines and get commissions from magazines but Alan on the other hand does photography on the side of his acting as a strong hobbies and for the love of photography.
In a complete oposite Ben Lowy does extremely emotional photojournalism work in Iraq. His images represent what the american soldiers see and not from a point of view of the irqie people like most people would expect. He says that he try to detach himself from the world he sees so he can portray what is happening in its purest form with out to much of his own personal sin on it. But in his own way he says that he try to create something beautifull from the disaster that he sees over there. This is very different from Mikail Baryshnikov's work how is extremely emotional about his work as he mainly photographs dances are as a dancer himself her is connected to the work.
