My abnormal family

For me my childhood was normal, it was all I had ever known and experianced, but my family was fair from 'normal'. My brother was born with severe cerebal palsy. It meant that he spent his life in a wheel chair, not able to speak, walk or eat. He struggled with the disablity for the whole of his life, his life was spent mostly in and out of hospital, which meant I spent my life in and out of hospital. We where limited with what we could do, we couldn't just spontaniously go out, it took planning, and time... a lot of time. My family was different and we had to revolve our lifes around his disability, but it wasn't our life. Zayid is a comdian, and a philanthropist she also has cerebral palsy she talks about how cerebral palsy is just an aspect of her life and is not her life. I was inspired by her talk with the courage she has to dream and achieve those dreams.
